Venerdì 15 marzo un Evento speciale in Piazza San Pietro
e più di 1.000 ore di Adorazione Eucaristica
Continua senza soste l’impegno “Eucaristico” ed organizzativo dei giovani dell’Associazione Nazionale Papaboys in prossimità dell’Elezione del nuovo Sommo Pontefice e per tutta la durata del Conclave. Alla maratona di Adorazione iniziata l’11 febbraio presso la Parrocchia di Santa Maria delle Grazie alle Fornaci a 100 metri da Piazza San Pietro (superate le 700 ore ininterrotte con la notte appena trascorsa) si è aggiunta da questo lunedì l’iniziativa del Centro Internazionale Giovanile San Lorenzo, in via Pfeiffer 24 (Via della Conciliazione), proprio di fronte proprio alla Sala Stampa Vaticana dove migliaia di giornalisti in queste ore stanno seguendo lo scandire dell’elezione del nuovo Papa. Il Centro San Lorenzo, custodisce inoltre la Croce delle Giornate Mondiali della Gioventù donata ai giovani del mondo dal Beato Giovanni Paolo II nel 1984.
“L’invito per tutti i ragazzi e le ragazze italiani è di mettersi in viaggio verso la città Eterna, vi aspettiamo per questo evento storico – dichiara Loredana Corrao, portavoce dei giovani del Papa – non fatevi spaventare dalla tariffe alte apparse su alcuni media: c’è una rete di solidarietà che attraversa le parrocchie romane che hanno aperto le porte per permettere anche il pernottamento gratuito in sacco a pelo”. L’Associazione dei Papaboys ha messo a disposizione oltre che la pagina “facebook ufficiale” www.facebook.com/Papaboys anche un indirizzo mail (agency@papaboys.it) al quale rivolgersi per ottenere risposte e sistemazioni in tempo reale. “Sono circa 1.800 i primi giovani che sono arrivati già a Roma, e ne aspettiamo almeno altre duemila nelle prossime 48 ore”.
Ed i Papaboys hanno anche previsto un “Evento Speciale” per questo venerdì 15 marzo in piazza San Pietro, dal titolo “Viva il Papa” che potrebbe essere in assoluto la prima “festa” con il Nuovo Pontefice… basterà attendere le “fumate del camino”. Alle ore 15 di venerdì è prevista la processione della Croce dei Giovani che sarà portata a spalla da alcune delegazioni di ragazzi provenienti da 15 paesi di tutto il mondo e dell’icona di Maria Santissima, dal Centro San Lorenzo fino ai piedi della statua di San Pietro nella piazza vaticana, e poi dalle ore 16 “A Moment with Mary”, la preghiera del Santo Rosario che sarà recitata in varie lingue ed in latino. A presiedere questo evento speciale è stato invitato il Vescovo ausiliare de L’Aquila Monsignor Giovanni d’Ercole che alle ore 18.30 celebrerà anche la Santa Messa all’interno del Centro San Lorenzo. L’iniziativa “Viva il Papa” è promossa dal Pontificio Consiglio dei Laici, dal network “Aleteia” (www.aleteia.org) della Fondazione per la Nuova Evangelizzazione, dal Centro Internazionale San Lorenzo, e dall’Associazione Nazionale dei Papaboys e sarà trasmessa anche in Live streaming su Aleteia (http://rosarylive.aleteia.org). Per concludere la settimana di “preghiere speciali” i Papaboys promuovono e segnalano inoltre una Veglia speciale questo sabato notte 16 aprile, con la processione al Circo Massimo alle ore 2, nel cuore della notte, presso la Basilica di Sant’Anastasia al Palatino.
“In questi giorni la Santa Sede sta scrivendo alcune pagine di storia che contribuiranno al progresso sociale e civile – oltre che spirituale – di tutta l’umanità – dichiara Daniele Venturi, presidente nazionale dell’Associazione dei Papaboys –. Il primo pensiero è a tutti i giovani di Roma che invitiamo a venire in Piazza San Pietro in queste ore per non perdere una tale opportunità. Accogliere il nuovo Pontefice nel clima di preghiera che si è sviluppato in questo periodo è una possibilità straordinaria mai vista nella storia recente della Chiesa. Il nostro grazie – continua Daniele Venturi – in primis al Beato Giovanni Paolo II che ha dato fiducia ai giovani di tutto il mondo, quindi al Papa Emerito Benedetto XVI, che li ha formati nella preghiera.

PRAYERS AND JOY WAITING FOR NEW POPE
Friday 15th March a special Event in Saint Peter’s square
and more than 1.000 hours of Eucharistic Adoration
The “Eucharistic” and organizational engagement of the young people of the National Association of Papaboys continues without pauses for the Election of the new one Pope and for all the duration of the Conclave. To the marathon of Eucharistic Adoration, begun the 11th February near the Parish of “Santa Maria delle Grazie alle Fornaci” at 100 meters from Saint Peter’s square (exceeded the 700 uninterrupted hours with the last night) it is addition from this Monday the initiative of “San Lorenzo” International Youth Centre, in via Pfeiffer 24 (Via della Conciliazione), just forehead to Vatican Press Room where thousands of journalists in these hours are following the election of the new Pope. The “San Lorenzo” Centre, guards moreover the Crucifix of the World Youth Day donated to the young people of the world from the Blessed John Paul II in 1984.
“The invitation for all the Italian boys and girls is to put itself in travel towards the Eternal city, we wait for you to participate at this historical event – it’s declared to Loredana Corrao spokesman of the Pope’s youth – not make yourself to scare from the appeared high rates on some website: there is a solidarity net that it crosses roman parishes that have opened the doors in order to afford also the free night’s passing sleeping bed”. The Association of the Papaboys has put on as well as the official page “Facebook” www.facebook.com/Papaboys also an address mail (agency@papaboys.it) to which to address in order to obtain answers and accommodations in real time. “The first young people that have arrived already to Rome are approximately 1.800, and we wait for at least others two thousand in next the 48hours”.
The Papaboys also have previewed a Special Event for this Friday 15th March Saint Peter’s Square, from the title “Viva il Papa” who he could be in absolute the first “festivity” with the New Pontiff…
It will be enough to attend the “smoke signals of the fireplace”. At 15 ‘o clock of Friday is previewed the procession of the Cross of Young that will be brought to shoulder from some delegations of coming boys from 15 countries of all the world and of the icon of Maria Santissima, from Centro San Lorenzo until the statue of Saint Peter in the Vatican square, and then from hours 16 “A Moment with Mary”, the prayer of the Saint Rosary who will be recited in sundries languages and in Latin. To preside this special event Monsignor Giovanni D’Ercole, auxiliary Bishop de L’Aquila is invited and at 18, 30 hi will celebrate also the Saint Mass to inside of the San Lorenzo Centre. The initiative “Viva il Papa” is promoted by the Pontifical Council of the Laity, by the Network “Aleteia” (www.aleteia.org) of the Foundation for the New Evangelization, by “San Lorenzo” International Youth Centre and by the National Association of the Papaboys and it will be transmitted also in Live streaming on Aleteia (http://rosarylive.aleteia.org). In order to conclude the week of “special prayers” the Papaboys they promote and they signal moreover a special Vigil this Saturday night 16th April, with the procession to the Maximum Circus at 2am, in the middle of the night, near the Basilica of Sant’Anastasia to Palatino.
“In these days the Holy See is writing some history pages that will contribute to the progress social and civil – as well as spiritual – of all the humanity – it’s declared by Daniele Venturi, national president of the Association of the Papaboys –. The first thought is to all the young people of Rome that we invite to come in Saint Peter’s square in these hours in order to not lose such opportunity. To receive the new Pontiff in the climate of prayer that has been developed in this period it is an extraordinary possibility never seen in the recent history of the Church. Our graces – Daniele Venturi continues – firstly to the Blessed John Paul II Blessed that gave confidence to the young people of all the world, therefore to Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, than has formed them in the prayer.
